和茶子とはWhat is Washako?

『和』…平和・調和・和み、『茶』…茶、『子』…「一」と完了や終了の「了」の字から為ることから、「一」から「了」までやり遂げるという意味があることから茶道を通じて世界平和を成し遂げる店という想いで名付けました。
また子は日本女性の名前によく使われる字でもあるので
女の子のニックネームのように親しみを持って呼んでくださいね。
和文化大好きな私たちが笑顔でお迎えします。
“Wa" means peace, harmony, and Japanese style, "sha(cha)" means tea, and "子" is made up of the Chinese characters for "一" and "了", which means completion or end.
The name "KO" is also a Japanese woman's name, and is often used for a Japanese woman.
In addition, "子" is a character often used in the names of Japanese women.
Please call it familiarly like a girl's nickname.
We, who love Japanese culture, will welcome you with a smile.

こだわりの室内Indoor space with special attention to detail

床の間は、お花で世界を平和にすることを目的に活動されている小原流家元教授の矢澤諒さんに床の間のお花を活けていただいています。掛け軸は、書家 狩野舟紅さん素材に神道を入れ込み、神仏融合のエネルギーで、禅の言葉を書いていただきました。 The tokonoma (alcove) is decorated by Mr. Ryo Yazawa, Iemoto Professor of the Obara flower School, who is working to bring peace to the world through flowers. For the hanging scroll, we asked calligrapher Funabo Kano to write Zen words with the energy of Shinto and Buddhist fusion, incorporating Shinto into the materials.

茶道体験１回（45分）：お一人5000円 One tea ceremony experience (45 minutes): 5,000 yen per person

当日の流れ Flow on the day

お会計を済ませたら、開始時間まで待合室にてお待ちください。
開始時間になりましたら、和室へお入りください。
和室では茶道の実演を致しますのでお菓子とお抹茶を召し上がりながら、ご覧ください。
希望されるお客様には実際にお茶を点てていただきます。

使ったお道具や、掛け軸や活け花の説明や日常生活に役立つお菓子の食べ方、抹茶の飲み方などもレクチャーいたします。残った時間は写真撮影などをしてお過ごしください。

最後にお土産をお受け取りいただいて体験終了です。

After paying the bill, please wait in the waiting room until the start time.
When the start time arrives, please enter the Japanese-style room.
Please watch the tea ceremony demonstration in the Japanese-style room while enjoying sweets and green tea.
If you wish, you can actually make tea.
We will also give a lecture on how to eat sweets and drink matcha tea, as well as explanations of the utensils used, hanging scrolls, and flower arrangements. The rest of the time will be spent taking pictures.
The experience ends with a souvenir.

  • 茶道体験に関して

    I don't know the etiquette of tea ceremony, is it ok?
    大丈夫です。初心者の方も、お気軽にご来店ください。
    No problem about it, just come.
    Is there a dress code for clothing? and Can I rent a kimono?
    ドレスコードはありませんが、靴を脱いでご入店ください。
    和服のレンタルは、写真を撮るときのみ、スタッフの着物をお貸しすることは可能です。クリーニング代として3,000円ご負担ください。
    We don't have a dress code, but you take off your shoes before entering.
    You can rent a kimono, for 3000 yen when only taking pictures within Wasako.

    How can I make a reservation?
    予約方法は、当サイトの予約ボタンから、もしくはお電話にてご連絡ください。
    You can make a reservation on our website or call us.
    How do I cancel?
    なるべく早くご連絡ください。２日前までの連絡は返金致します。前日キャンセルは50％のキャンセル料を、当日のキャンセルは100％のキャンセル料をご負担いただきます。
    Please tell us of your cancellation as soon as possible. Full refund up to before 2 days, 50% cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations made the day before the event. No refund for same-day cancellations.
    When can I make a reservation?
    当日の8:59amまで予約を取ることができます。
    You are able to make a reservation until 8:59 a.m. on the same day.

    Can I enter with my child?
    ゆっくりと茶道を体験していただくため、未就学児(6歳以下)の体験参加はお断りしています。誠に申し訳ありませんが、ご了承ください。
    To keep participants focused, children under 6 years old are not allowed to participate.
    Is there parking available?
    申し訳ありませんが、駐車場の用意はありません。お近くのコインパーキングをご利用ください。
    No parking is available.
